Exe Estuary Management Partnership’s Stakeholder Forum

The Exe Estuary Management Partnership (EEMP) recently held their 2020 Stakeholder Forum event. The event took the form of a more traditional conference, but was held virtually due to COIVD-19. A limited number (80) of free tickets were advertised and the event sold out. The Forum was well-attended by local stakeholders and by organisations presenting on a range of interesting topics. A representative from D&S IFCA provided an update on mollusc survey work and a potential Hand-Working Permit Byelaw, which is likely to be informative for individuals with interests in the Exe and other estuaries within the District.

D&S IFCA's Partnership Working

Attendance at this EEMP event – and other estuary and stakeholder forums – is one strand of D&S IFCA’s efforts to work more closely with stakeholder groups, and to keep partnership working at the core of the IFCA co-management approach. D&S IFCA also regularly provides the EEMP with news articles for our dedicated page in their newsletter, to help keep people informed about the work of the D&S IFCA.
